Planning commission to review application for new store in former Fred’s

The Macon-Bibb County Planning & Zoning Commission will review an application for a store in the former Fred’s store location, 6109 Houston Road.

The new store, Yazoo Trading Co., sells hardware, auto parts and pet supplies and is situated on a 2.3-acre tract.

P&Z staff has recommended ratification of the application.

The commission’s meeting is 1:30 p.m. Monday in the 10th floor conference room, Willie C. Hill City Hall Annex, 682 Cherry St., Macon.
