Williams, 28, is suspected of getting a ride in the 100 block of Russell Parkway and robbing the driver, police spokeswoman Tabitha Pugh said. Williams is accused of pulling a handgun on the driver and telling him to go to an ATM on North Davis Drive, Pugh said.

The driver withdrew an undisclosed amount of money from the ATM. Pugh said Williams took the money and fled on foot. She did not know if the two men knew each other.
