Education briefs; Houston schools nutrition managers honored

Twenty-two Houston County Board of Education school nutrition managers were awarded plaques for perfect health scores at the Aug. 13 board meeting.

Managers from the following schools were honored: Feagin Mill Middle, Hilltop Elementary, Mossy Creek Middle, Perry Primary and Veterans High for three consecutive years of perfect scores; Bonaire Middle, Houston County High, Perdue Elementary, Perry Middle and Shirley Hills, six years; Huntington Middle, Matt Arthur and Quail Run, seven years; Lake Joy Elementary, Lake Joy Primary and Warner Robins Middle, eight years; Westside Elementary, nine years; and Bonaire Elementary, Miller Elementary, Morningside Elementary, Perdue Primary and Tucker Elementary, 10 years.
