Roads closed in Warner Robins due to flash flooding are now back open, police said.

The heavy downpours produced more than 2 inches per hour Friday morning. The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning shortly after 9 a.m. Friday morning for parts of Houston, Bibb, Peach and Twiggs counties. The warning expires at 3:15 p.m. Friday.

Houston County sheriff's 911 Sgt. Shelia Hayes urged motorists to use caution if water is across the road.

"Please don't try to go through it," she said.
