Minor injuries were reported after a Houston County school bus overturned Thursday morning.

The bus was transporting six Northside Elementary School students around 8 a.m. on Dunbar Road in Warner Robins when it slid toward a ditch and overturned on its side, said Beth McLaughlin, district spokeswoman.

The six students, the bus driver and a bus monitor were transported to the Houston Medical Center as a precaution. One student complained of a hurt arm and another had a bloody nose. The principal spent the day with the students in the hospital, and everyone was released by Thursday evening, McLaughlin said.
