An 18-year-old who reported a burglary at a relative’s home was charged in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in the 1600 block of Railroad Avenue.

Devin Divonta Moore, of Moughon Street, was arrested at about 2:25 p.m. Wednesday, a little more than an hour after police found the victim with a gunshot wound to the knee on the road that runs along the railroad tracks near Holt Avenue, according to a Macon police news release.

Officers investigating the burglary realized Moore matched the description of the shooter.

Bibb County jail records show the teen is charged with aggravated assault and was being held on a $16,700 bond Thursday.
