Four people were arrested on gun and drug charges, and another is being sought after Bibb County sheriffs investigators served a search warrant at about 5 p.m. Thursday at 2241 Melton Ave.
One of the residents, Michael Anthony Pitts Jr., 20, fled from the home as the warrant was being served and was not caught, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriffs Office.
Amond Rashad Norwood, 19; Kendarrious Rayshun Cone, 19; Bernard Dent Jr., 23; and Terry Eugene Burkett Sr., 48, the news release stated.
All the men are from Macon and were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, theft by receiving stolen property and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Norwood, Cone and Dent also were charged with participating in criminal gang activity.
Cone was served with two warrants from the Macon Police Department for child cruelty and battery, and Burkett was charged with probation violation. Both men additionally were charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
All of the men are being held in the Bibb County jail without bond.
