A Warner Robins man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery July 26 in the 300 block of Church Street in Centerville, police said.

Frank Edwards, 29, is accused of taking $20 from a 26-year-old woman at gunpoint after she answered the door of her mobile home at 10:55 p.m., said Centerville police Maj. Garrett Cooley. Edwards was charged with armed robbery.

The Houston County Sheriff’s Office arrested Edwards Tuesday, Cooley stated in an email Friday.

Edwards is accused of brandishing a handgun after knocking on the woman’s front door and taking the money he saw on a table behind her, Cooley said.
