Armed robbers sought in downtown Macon holdup

Macon police fanned out on Third Street looking for two armed robbers who held up a used car lot at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Two men in red bandanas robbed Sai Motors at 707 Third St., which anchors a corner of Pine Street. Detectives arrived shortly after officers checked neighboring businesses looking for the suspects.

Anyone who knows anything about the robbery is asked to call police at 751-7500 or Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
