Little League Baseball Southeastern Regional Tournament information

The Little League Baseball Southeastern Regional Tournament kicks off this week with teams arriving Thursday.

The 11- and 12-year-old baseball champions from Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Virginia and West Virginia will compete for a chance to go to the Little League Baseball World Series in Williamsport, Pa.

Opening ceremonies will be at 9 a.m. Friday, and games start at 10 a.m., with Florida versus North Carolina.

The stadium is located at 439 Snellgrove Drive, Warner Robins.

Admission and parking are free, and concessions as well as a gift shop will be open daily during the tournament.

The semifinal games are at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Aug. 7. Both games will be broadcast live on ESPN 2. The championship game will be on ESPN at 7 p.m. Aug. 9. Fireworks will follow at 9:15 p.m.
