Bibb County grand jurors indicted a 36-year-old Macon man Tuesday on allegations he stabbed his girlfriend in the chest on March 6.

Cedrick Dwonta Poole, of Grenada Terrace, is charged with aggravated assault and simple battery, according to an indictment filed Tuesday in Bibb County Superior Court.

Poole allegedly stabbed his girlfriend during an argument outside her friend's apartment, located in the 1000 block of Rocky Creek Road. The woman told Poole she wouldn't date him anymore and he stabbed her, according to a Macon police report.

Poole then forced his way into the apartment and struck another woman inside, according to the indictment.

Poole is being held at the Bibb County jail on $14,500 bond, according to jail records.
