Man robbed outside of Macon club

Staff reportJuly 29, 2013

A man told Macon police he was having a good time drinking and “spending money on the girls” late Saturday night at Sinsation South until one of the dancers told him to step outside.

After exiting the club at 1508 Rocky Creek Road, the man told police he was grabbed from behind by another man who choked him and hit him in the face a couple of times, according to a Macon police report.

The victim told police the assailant took $600 from his back pocket and broke the gear shift off of his truck. He handed the victim the gear shift and said “this is a warning,” the report stated.

There were others in the parking lot during the assault, but no one helped, according to the report.

The victim ran away and reported the crime to police.

When officers arrived at the club, it was closed and the victim’s truck was in the parking lot.

His insurance company had the vehicle towed and he was transported home.

No arrests were made.
