Charges have been dismissed against a 26-year-old Macon man who was charged with wearing a mask to conceal his identity and hindering police shortly after George Zimmerman was acquitted in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin.
Municipal Court records do not say why the charges were dismissed against Stevario Windhom, said John Pattan, the Municipal Court administrator.
An officer arrested Windhom about 1:20 a.m. July 14 after seeing him standing in a fountain at the intersection of Cherry and Third streets. Windhom contends he was standing atop the fountain.
Windhom initially gave the officer his stage name, Chris Wind, according to a police report.
