The Macon-Bibb County Parks & Recreation Department will hold its first Doggie-Dip from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday at the East Macon swimming pool, 3326 Ocmulgee East Blvd.

People can take their dogs to the pool, where the dogs will have the chance to run free and swim. The cost is $2 per dog and $1 per person.

Any dog that becomes aggressive will be removed from the pool with no refunds, according to a county news release.

People who attend can bring unopened dog food and treats, which will be donated to Macon-Bibb County Animal Welfare.
