Houston school board votes to keep millage rate stable

PERRY -- The millage rate for Houston County schools will remain the same for fiscal 2014 property taxes, the board of education decided Thursday.

That rate will remain at 13.34 mills. It is expected to generate about $49.5 million in ad valorem taxes.
