Second meeting for proposed Warner Robins water park canceled

A meeting between Peach County and Warner Robins officials about a private water park development has been canceled.

Officials were going to meet Monday but rescheduled the meeting for Wednesday. That second meeting has been canceled as well. It’s unknown if it will be rescheduled at a later date.

Warner Robins Mayor Chuck Shaheen has said he doesn’t agree with council members brokering a deal with an Atlanta developer because the developer doesn’t yet have financing or land.

Councilman Mike Brashear said council members are working with the developer in much the same way they have with other developers and will aid him in similar ways if the project goes forward.
