Warhawk Dugout Club sells Braves tickets

The Veterans Warhawk Dugout Club is selling Atlanta Braves tickets as a fundraiser for the high school’s baseball program.

Tickets are available for Tuesday’s game against the Colorado Rockies and the Sept. 3 game against the New York Mets. Both games are at 7 p.m. Tickets are $6 or $20 for a four-pack. Seats are in the outfield/upper level, according to a news release.

Flesher sworn in as GAEL president

Cindy Flesher, assistant superintendent for school operations for Houston County, was sworn in as president of the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders July 15.

The organization provides unity for Georgia’s school leadership groups, including the Georgia Association of Elementary School Principals, Georgia Association of Middle School Principals, Georgia Association of Secondary School Principals, Georgia Association of Curriculum and Instructional Supervisors, Georgia School Superintendents Association and Georgia Council of Administrators of Special Education, the release states.
