Mark Ballard whips up a batch of Strawberry Cream Cheese Cobbler, a berry good desert without the fuss. Video by Liz Fabian.Recipe: Preheat oven to 350.Melt 1 stick of butter and pour into a 9x13 baking dish. In a bowl: mix 1 egg, 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of sugar, (Mark uses 1-1/2 cups and adds a tsp. of vanilla), 2 tsps. of baking powder and a half tsp. of salt.Pour into dish with butter, but do not stir. Arrange 2 quarts of capped and hulled strawberries in a single layer in the dish. Take 4 ounces of cream cheese and pinch off small pieces to evenly place between berries. Bake for 45 minutes or until top is golden brown and edges bubble. Serve hot out of the oven.
