Health screenings for students available at upcoming Macon fair

Parents can get their children’s immunizations up to date for the start of school at an upcoming health fair.

The Macon-Bibb County Health Department is hosting its annual Back-2-School Carnival on July 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the health department office, 171 Emery Highway in Macon.

Parents will be able to get all of their child’s immunizations and screenings done, including dental, hearing and vision checks. There will also be prize drawings and other activities. There will be a cost for some of the screenings and shots.
