A Macon woman has alleged she was raped Friday in a mens restroom at River Edge Behavioral Health Center on Emery Highway, according to a Macon police report.
The 24-year-old womans uncle told police Monday that his niece had been at the center for a class. On her lunch break, one of her classmates pushed her into a bathroom and forced her to have sex, according to the report, released Tuesday.
The woman told police her attacker offered her $10 after the sex act and she ran from the bathroom, according to the report.
Police met with the woman at Coliseum Hospital.
River Edge spokesman Mark Vanderhoek said, We take allegations like this very seriously and are cooperating fully with the police investigation.
