Bibb County grand jurors indicted a 24-year-old Macon man Tuesday in the April shooting death of another man on east Macons Forsyth Avenue.
Bernard Bullard, of Tina Drive, is charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to an indictment filed in Bibb County Superior Court.
Bullard allegedly shot 18-year-old John Johnson III in the face about 12:15 a.m. on April 21.
An eyewitness signed a statement saying Bullard was the shooter and picked him out of a photo lineup, according to an arrest warrant.
A witness told police another man, 18-year-old Markel D. Parks of Morningside Drive, helped confront and surround Johnson while Bullard shot him.
Parks, who was arrested on a murder charge in April, is not named in Tuesdays indictment.
Charges against him are pending.
Bullard and Parks are being held at the Bibb County jail without bond, according to jail records.
