WARNER ROBINS -- The city is taking another stab at having a fireworks show.

After being rained out twice, the annual Independence Day fireworks show has been rescheduled for Aug. 9, according to Mayor Chuck Shaheen.

The location is being moved to the Little League Southeast Park on Snellgrove Drive. The show will begin at 9:15 p.m. following the boys’ regional championship game.

The concert that was to be held in conjunction with the fireworks was canceled due to other commitments by the performers. However, Bobbie Eakes will sing the national anthem at the fireworks.
