A meeting to help design a public skateboarding park for Macon-Bibb County will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, in the gym of the Rosa Jackson Commuity Center, 1121 Maynard St.
The Bibb County Board of Commissioners is sponsoring the meeting, at which skateboarders can talk about what features theyd like to see in a skate park. Representatives of Joplin, Mo.-based American Ramp Company, a leading skate park designer, will moderate the meeting.
