Macon’s Russell Henley is in good shape to earn his second win in his first year on the PGA Tour.

Henley is tied for second after two rounds of the Greenbrier Classic after shooting a 5-under-par 65 on Friday. Henley and four others are one shot behind leader Matt Every, who had a 62 on Friday.

Henley’s second round included seven birdies and one double-bogey after he fired a 67 in the first round. He was tied for the lead at 9 under before the double-bogey on the par-4 fifth hole on Henley’s second nine of the day. He recovered with three straight pars before a birdie on the ninth on his final hole.
