Perry City Council approved a priority list of roads to be resurfaced with help from the Georgia Department of Transportation at this week’s meeting, according to City Manager Lee Gilmour.

Gilmour said Airport Road Extension is at the top of the list.

The council also approved a $36,500 contract with Paulk Landscaping and Nursery for landscaping in front of the city’s new fire station.

Also at Tuesday’s meeting, council agreed to write off $18,000 worth of property taxes that hadn’t been paid between 2005 and 2012, remove taxes and fees from a seized single-seater airplane, amend recreation fees as part of an annual fee adjustment and donate a surplus vehicle to the Perry Airport Authority.
