The Georgia Department of Natural Resources wants to talk turkey hunting with folks at three public hearings, including one in Macon this month.

The public is invited to voice opinions on a proposed 2014 turkey season for youth under 16 and those with mobility impairments.

The DNR has scheduled a public meeting for 7 p.m. July 17 at the Georgia State Farmers Market Conference Room at 2055 Eisenhower Parkway.

Another hearing is set for 7 p.m. July 18 at the Coffee County Courthouse at 101 Peterson Ave. in Douglas.
