Public safety workers eat free at Moe’s

Public safety personnel can eat free at Moe’s Southwest Grill in Warner Robins this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, according to a news release. This is the fifth year the store has offered the deal, which is open to anyone who works for a law enforcement agency or fire department.

A badge or employment identification is required to receive the free meal. Moe’s is located at 2628 Watson Boulevard.

Perry man named aviation museum’s Volunteer of the Quarter

Ron Geary, of Perry, is Volunteer of the Quarter at the Museum of Aviation. Geary is an Air Force veteran with 20 years in the service. He has more than 1,500 hours as a volunteer since he started at the museum in 2005, according to a news release. Geary and his wife, Dollie, were honored at the museum June 13.
