Macon’s June rainfall records

June’s record rainfall total: 12.25 inches, or 8.19 inches above normal of 4.06 inches.

The wettest day this month was June 5 when 2.73 inches fell. It was not a record for that date, but tied the ninth wettest June day on record.

June 23 set a record for 24-hour total with 1.63 inches.

The first six months of 2013 saw a record 40.92 inches, or 16.8 inches above normal for the first half of the year.
