The State Bar of Georgia installed Charles L. Ruffin as its 51st president at the organizations annual meeting last month.
Ruffin is a shareholder in the firm of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C., which has offices in Atlanta and Macon. Ruffins specialty is eminent domain law.
Ruffin is a graduate of Auburn University and Emory University School of Law.
He has previously served the State Bar of Georgia on the board of governors and the executive committee, and he was treasurer for two years.
