Neighbors had complained for months about the condition of a house partly owned by Monroe County sheriff's investigator Beverly Aldridge on Blue Store Road in Forsyth. Her daughter, jail secretary Angel Aldridge, was arrested Tuesday and charged with cruelty to animals after deputies found a decomposing dead dog chained outside and a surviving dog did not have food or water.
