WARNER ROBINS -- Five teenagers, including two minors, are accused of multiple auto break-ins late Monday and early Tuesday in Houston County.

Tyler Hunter Bliss, 18; William Buddy Crosby, 17; Austin Kyle Nicholson, 17; and the two minors were charged with theft by receiving stolen property, a Houston County Sheriff’s Office news release stated.

The five were picked up during a traffic stop at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in which a handgun reported stolen in the auto break-ins was recovered, said Lt. Dave Carrick.

Investigators then searched a residence in the 100 block of Hawks View Trail where some of the suspects had been staying. GPS units, credit cards and jewelry reported stolen in the auto break-ins were recovered at the residence, the release stated.

In all, 10 auto break-ins were reported in the area of Lake Joy and Hunt Road late Monday and early Tuesday.

Bliss and Crosby also were charged with possession of a firearm by an underage person, jail records show.

Anyone with information related to the auto break-ins is asked to call investigator Sgt. Slate Simons at 478-542-2085 or 478-542-2080.
