WARNER ROBINS -- Funeral arrangements have been made for a 16-year-old Warner Robins High School student who died from injuries sustained in an ATV crash Friday.

The funeral service for Theresa Erin Bridges is at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, 417 S. Houston Lake Road, according to the funeral home’s website. Visitation is scheduled for 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Bridges and Joshua Ryals, 17, of Warner Robins, were ejected from the 2006 China-Joyner Dune Buggy in the 3:40 p.m. crash Friday, a Houston County sheriff’s news release stated. She died later that night at the hospital.

The all-terrain vehicle overturned as Ryals attempted to turn left onto Minick Street from North Davis Drive. The teens were not wearing proper restraints, the release stated. Ryals, who was also injured in the crash, has been released from The Medical Center of Central Georgia, a hospital spokeswoman said. Speed is believed to be a factor, and charges are expected, according to the sheriff’s office.

Houston County sheriff’s Cpl. Sean Alexander said Monday that a determination concerning the nature of the expected charges against Ryals will be made after the investigation is completed in a few weeks.
