Macon sports bar burglarized

Burglars hit CJ’s Sports Bar, 2910 Riverside Drive, about 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, getting away with about $6,000 from cash registers and the ATM.

An officer responding to a burglar alarm found the back door pried open, according to a Macon police report.

Officers were unable to watch the surveillance video because the burglars disabled it after eight seconds, according to the report.
