Drug bust in Napier area nets four arrests

Macon police arrested four people after finding drugs Thursday at a house at c.

The Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Macon Police STRIKE team had a search warrant and found 51 individual packages of marijuana for distribution, several pills, 12 small baggies of cocaine and a stolen Xbox, according to a Macon police news release.

Elaine Davis Smith’s house had a high-tech surveillance system and a 42-inch television set to monitor outdoor activity, which officers suspect was used to alert the occupants of police presence, the release stated.

Police charged 58-year-old Thomas Loyd Landrum with burglary, State Court probation violation, misdemeanor marijuana possession and being present where drugs are kept, used or sold.

Jimmie Lee Foster Jr., 45, is charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession and being present where drugs are kept, used or sold.

The 59-year-old Smith faces charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and theft by receiving stolen property.

Darryl Bernard Swint, 48, is charged with possession of marijuana and being present where drugs are kept, used or sold.
