Bibb County Animal Welfare will hold a pet adoption event Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Pet Supermarket, 265 Tom Hill Sr. Blvd.

Dogs and cats will be available for $25. Bibb County Animal Welfare Director Sarah Tenon said most of the animals will be spayed or neutered as well as vaccinated and wormed. For the animals that aren’t altered, there will be a $50 refundable spay/neutering fee. Animal Welfare officers will work to set up an appointment with a local vet who will honor the refund.

The animal shelter will remain open Saturday during the event. For more information, call Animal Welfare at (478) 751-9200.
