Henley set for Players Championship debut

dshirley@macon.comMay 8, 2013

Macon's Russell Henley will make his Players Championship debut starting Thursday, and the first two rounds will have a familiar feel to his Masters debut last month.

Henley, who missed the cut at the Masters, played the first two rounds with Brian Gay and Larry Mize at Augusta National Golf Club. Henley is paired with Gay again for the first two rounds of the Players Championship. The third member of the group is Henrik Stenson.

They will tee off at 8:29 a.m. off the first hole Thursday and at 1:30 p.m. off the 10th hole Friday.
