Mann was last seen at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
He and his wife, Elaine Mann, were at the hospital most of the day, but later traveled in separate cars from the doctor.
When she turned onto Lee Road, he continued heading south.
Mann had a medical conditions and there was concern that he may have became disoriented after not eating all day, the release stated.
