Houston schools ask for feedback

The Houston County school system is asking parents and community members to complete a short survey about county schools and the system.

The seven-question survey is posted at as well as the homepage of individual schools. Click on “Parent & Community Feedback Survey” to access it. Responses are anonymous.

“As part of our continuous improvement process, our system would greatly appreciate feedback from our parents and any other interested community member,” Eric Payne, assistant superintendent for teaching and learning, said in a news release.

“The responses will be used to measure how we’re doing and how we can improve, especially in the areas of communication and parent involvement opportunities.”

The survey will close Friday.
