Camera crews for the motion picture “Need for Speed” will be rolling Saturday in downtown Macon.

From 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. Saturday, Walnut Street will close from Second Street to Seventh Street, and a portion of Sixth Street will also be closed during that time.

Overnight, filming moves to Cherry Street from 11 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday when the road is scheduled to be blocked from Mulberry Street to Plum Street Lane.

Law enforcement officers are expected to help motorists with detours.
