Two memorials for Ta'Miya Watson, a Barden Elementary School kindergartener who was killed Monday in a school bus accident, are planned for Friday.

Students and staff at the school have been encouraged to wear pink shirts, colorful or different socks and hair bows on Friday. A school tribute is scheduled for Friday afternoon.

Separately, a candlelight memorial is planned for 7:30 p.m. Friday at 5487 Virginia Drive in Macon.

The Telegraph and Macon.com have details on funeral arrangements for Watson, who was 5.
