Macon police issued arrest warrants Friday evening for an 18-year-old man believed to be the gunman in a shooting early Friday on Mercer University Drive.

Jarvis Streeter is wanted for criminal attempt to commit murder and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, according to a news release from the Macon Police Department.

Brad Mintz, 22, is in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds.

Mintz was shot at the Villa West Apartments at 4006 Mercer University Drive at about 12:05 a.m. Friday.

A friend was driving Mintz to the hospital when the car collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Pio Nono Avenue and Mercer University Drive.

Evidence gathered at the apartments led investigators to Streeter, who had not been arrested as of Saturday morning.

Anyone who sees him, is urged to call Macon police or Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at (877) 68CRIME.
