WARNER ROBINS -- Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in the 3 a.m. burglary Friday of the Pure gas station and convenience store at 3001 Moody Road.

The suspect smashed through a front window and grabbed cigarettes and other merchandise before fleeing, said Houston County sheriff’s Capt. Jon Holland.

Holland said investigators are hopeful that perhaps someone driving through the area may have seen something. The store is located on the corner of Moody Road and Ga. 96.

Blurry images of the suspect were captured by the store’s surveillance camera. The images show a tall white male with a stocking over his face. He is wearing blue jeans and a long-sleeved shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact lead investigator Sgt. Joe Middlebrooks at (478) 542-2085, or Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at 742-2330 or 1-877-68CRIME.
