Holocaust survivor to speak at Mercer

Holocaust survivor Walter Ziffer will share his experiences this week at Mercer University.

Ziffer, who survived the Holocaust in Czechoslovakia, will speak at 7 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. Wednesday in Newton Chapel. The Tuesday lecture is titled “Witness to the Holocaust: Reminiscences from Three Years in a Human-made Hell.” The Wednesday lecture is “Beyond Theodicy: In Search of God.” Both are free and open to the public.

Ziffer is an adjunct professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religion at Mars Hill College in North Carolina. A published author, Ziffer’s articles have been published in several magazines.
