Police question woman in Macon shooting in March

April 5, 2013

Macon police questioned a woman seen leaving a Macon shooting scene last month, according to a police news release Friday.

Police were looking for Thaiyeasha “Thai” Green after her purple two-door Honda Accord was spotted leaving Grosso Avenue and Elpis Street about 3:20 p.m. March 28, according to a news release from the Macon Police Department.

A man was shot at that location and suffered a wound to the arm and a bullet also grazed his head but he is expected to survive, the release stated.

Police spokeswoman Jami Gaudet said the case was an open investigation and would not release more details.
