Gordon Vernick and the Mercer Jazz Ensemble at Mercer Universitys Fickling Hall
Vernick is an associate professor of music and coordinator of jazz studies at Georgia State University as well as a Jazz trumpeter. He will be joined by the Mercer Jazz Ensemble in a night of music that will include songs by Johnny Mercer, Miles Davis and John Coltrane. 7:30 p.m. Free.
Louise Warren at Dolce Vita
Warren has sung her way into the hearts of Maconites all across the city. Shes been seen and heard on TV, radio and at many live shows. When shes not playing her guitar and singing here in Macon, she hits the road to share her talents all over Georgia. Well, now she comes back home to downtown Macon. Enjoy the singer-songwriter in an intimate environment with great coffee or a drink from their fully-stocked bar. 18 and up. 9 p.m. Free.
Shane Bridges Band at the Fish N Pig
The weather is nice again and that means its time for music on the Fish N Pig deck! Enjoy great food, drinks and music in a comfortable waterfront environment. Bridges is known as one of Middle Georgias premier singer-songwriters and this time he brings along the whole band. Theyre still celebrating the release of Bridges newest album Make A Name, recorded at Sony Tree Studio in Nashville, Tenn. Back City Woods at the Hummingbird Stage and Taproom
Back City Woods are fresh off the release of their second recording, Around the Bend. This now seasoned alt-country/bluegrass band is an absolute favorite here in Macon. Their high energy playing draws a big crowd of people who come to dance and sing along. Back City Woods is one of the most fun and exciting bands youll see in Macon. 21 and up. 10 p.m. $5.

Josh Graff at the Rookery
Harley Davidson of Macon is having a Bike Night at the Rookery, and for entertainment they have invited along Josh Graff, the midstates favorite up-and-coming blues guitarist. He began playing blues guitar at the age of 16 in local bands Stillwater and the Wall. Now, he can be found all over Middle Georgia playing and singing blues classics from Muddy Waters and Howlin Wolf to his own original pieces. All ages. 6:30 p.m. Free.
