Georgia Attorney General to speak at Mercer

Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens will speak Friday at Mercer University as part of the 2013 Law Day luncheon.

The luncheon, which will be at 12:30 p.m. in the Hawkins Arena of the University Center on the Macon campus, is open to the public at a cost of $35. Olens will speak on the importance of the rule of law for the justice system to function properly, according to a news release.

Mercer’s law school also will recognize three alumni: Judge Lamar Sizemore, Col. James P. Terry and Suzanne Cassidy, according to the release.
