Country music superstar Blake Shelton announced on his official Twitter that he is performing a free, live show at Whiskey River Nightclub on Friday night.
Shelton, who also is one of the four music stars on NBC’s “The Voice,” tweeted “That’s it!!! I have got to do another free country music celebration. Macon, Georgia. YOU!!!! Whiskey River tonight!! Be there...”
Whiskey River, 4570 Pio Nono Ave., confirmed Shelton’s free concert on its Facebook page Friday afternoon. The club opens its doors at 6 p.m. and said people might consider being there early to stand a better chance of getting in.
Shelton’s wife, country music star Miranda Lambert, performed in Macon two weeks ago with Dierks Bentley at the Macon Coliseum.
