Houston County is having a surplus auction April 4 that includes vehicles, computers, office furniture and more.
The auction begins at 10 a.m. at the Houston County warehouse at 2022 Kings Chapel Road in Perry. The items can be inspected April 3 from 1-4 p.m. and also an hour before the sale.
The vehicles will be auctioned off first. Some of the vehicles are running and some arent, but all are being sold as is, said Mark Baker, county purchasing agent. The list of 18 vehicles includes several Crown Victorias, as well as trucks and vans.
Also to be sold are many computers and printers, various other office equipment and furniture, and miscellaneous items. Winning bidders must pay on the spot, either by cash or check, but checks must be approved by the purchasing department.
