Bibb County will begin work painting and repairing the dam at Lake Tobesofkee Thursday morning, a news release stated.
Due to the work and environmental concerns, there will be no fishing at the dam until the work is completed, which will take a minimum of four months. The access gates at Stapleton Road and Flint Rock will be closed and locked during this period, and signs have been posted to keep people away from the area.
