A Dublin restaurant made USA Today’s list of “51 great pizza parlors.”

The list was compiled by asking food and tourism experts from each state and the District of Columbia to name “one great pizza parlor” in their state.

Deano’s Italian Grille in downtown Dublin made the list. The restaurant was nominated by Kevin Langston, deputy commissioner of the Georgia Tourism office.

Deano’s was lauded for having an “authentic hand-made Italian brick oven in a beautiful loft-like space.” The oven was imported from Italy. The restaurant was also recognized for making everything in-house with fresh, local ingredients.

Deano’s was recognized on the same list by USA Today in 2010.

The restaurant is located at 110 W. Jackson St.
